This Waste-To-Energy Facility provides a method of managing 360,000+ tons of municipal solid waste that is generated in Tampa, Florida each year. The energy created in burning this waste is converted into enough electrical power to supply electrical needs for up to 15,000 homes per month. Our client has been tasked with replacing some of the structural support in the plant due to decay. They requested a colorized point cloud and a 3D model to design plant upgrades and ensure everything is supported during the replacement process.
